Genealogical and biographical information (including interview tapes and transcripts), garden logs, orders, reports, diaries, notebooks, minutes, correspondence, architectural plans, newspaper clippings, magazine articles, photographs, slides, and printed materials documenting the history of the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary, located in Theodore Wirth Park (formerly known as Glenwood Park), Minneapolis, Minnesota. The garden began as the project of a group of botany teachers led by Eloise Butler in 1907. Under Butler's leadership (1911-1933) the garden became an extensive sanctuary for native flora and birds.
